Vision Integrated Partners is Hiring a Front Office Receptionist (Part-Time) Near St Louis, MO

Description

Visionary Eye Care & Surgery has an immediate opening for a Part-TimeFront Office Receptionist for our busy and growing ophthalmology practice. Our ideal candidate should have strong hospitality skills and a good patient service focus. Should be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, and be extremely dependable. Previous ophthalmology medical practice experience is a plus.

This position is a Monday - Friday, 3 days per week. No Weekends and No Holidays!

Areas of responsibilities would include:

  • Greeting and checking in patients for care
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Collecting copays
  • Balancing daily payment log
  • Verifying medical and vision plan insurance benefits
  • Obtaining referrals
  • Prepping charts
  • Scanning and filing medical records
  • Answering Phones
  • Maintain cleanliness of the lobby
  • Accurately process end-of-day payment and insurance reconciliation

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be well-organized and can work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with patients, physicians, and team members effectively.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good phone etiquette and ability to triage calls.
  • Must be flexible in work assignments and schedule; demonstrate commitment to ongoing education and cumulative skill mix.
  • Must uphold the highest ethical principles of maintaining confidentiality and other performance standards.
